South Valley Klippel were crowned champions for the G17 division last weekend and will be travelling to Colorado in July to represent the SCNPL in the NPL National Championships.                                                                                                                                                   Today also saw Carlsbad G14 and LA Premier G15 win their respective Championships.Next weekend Carlsbad G16 will face Lazers and on April 27 G13 FC Golden State will face Albion to determine the remaining girls' Champs.                                                                                                                                                                                                           B13 Fullerton Rangers went undefeated and B14 DMS11 today clinched first place with a win over LA Premier. B17 Carlsbad narrowly won the B17 divsion after tying their final game 0-0 agaiinst DMS11.

Several SCNPL U14-16 teams began play this morning with the lead off match being a 3-0 victory by G16 Lazers over LA Premier in an exciting prelude to the season.

Also competing was Santa Monica United B96 Blue who just won first place in the B16 Super Group of the prestigious Northern California Spring Showcase event held in Redwood City last weekend.. As the only team representing CSL and  Cal-South, the Blues finished undefeated ahead of 11 other Super Group competitors while recording convincing wins over perennial NorCal powerhouses Juventus Forza and Milan Rossoneri. Santa Monica United B96 Blue finished 2nd in CSL Premier League last fall and is currently participating in SoCal NPL. The Blues will also be competing in Dallas Cup during the last week of March.
